DougieMac's Stoke 10K returns on Sunday 2nd September

In 2017, DougieMac took on the organisation of the iconic Stoke 10K. After an incredibly successful event, we are pleased to announce the event will return to Hanley Park on Sunday 2nd September.

The Stoke 10K is suitable for runners of all abilities, it is an electronic chipped timed event which gives a fantastic tour of the city which starts and finishes at Hanley Park. The course features a run through the city centre as well as covering Leek Road, City Road and Victoria Road as you head to the finish line.

Whilst the DougieMac Stoke 10K is no longer UKA affiliated due to the costs of affiliation, the event is officially measured as a 10K and is chip  timed.

The course is completely closed to traffic and will use a professional traffic management company to fully close all roads and all our volunteer marshals are on hand to ensure we deliver a safe event for all runners.

Please note: The minimum age for the Stoke 10K is 15 years and over on 02/09/2018

Location start address: Hanley Park, Stoke on Trent, ST1 4DX

Want to run a faster 10K?

After the success of last year’s Run a Faster 10K which saw numerous runners step up and take on the challenge of the DougieMac 10K, Chris and Andy from Castle Coaching Fitness are back.

They will be delivering 12 weekly sessions aimed at helping runners to develop their 5K starting from Thursday 26th April, which will then lead on to a summer 10K course. If places get full, add your name to the waiting list for the next course level starting in the summer.

The programme has been developed by the Staffordshire Athletics Network through Sport England funding. Each FREE session will be an hour in length and will take place on a Thursday at 6:30pm. To get involved email
