Thank you for supporting KMF Group’s fundraising in aid of Douglas Macmillan Hospice. Over the years the KMF community has raised over £80,000 for the Hospice, with KMF employees also raising over £20,000 from the 2016 Freedom Trail Challenge.

The KMF team are committed to supporting Dougie Mac's Million Pound Milestone campaign and will be taking on a number of fundraising events and challenges to raise money that will help provide free end of life care to people across North Staffordshire.

About us

KMF Group consists of manufacturing facilities in Newcastle-under-Lyme and in Trencin, Slovakia, which serves a growing European market. Originally formed in 1971, KMF is still privately-owned and has grown to become one of the UK’s largest and most successful sheet metal and precision engineering companies.

KMF has over 500 staff and production runs over 24-hours, seven days-a-week. Working closely with our customers, on an individual basis, we are able to offer a one-stop solution – designing, developing and manufacturing our customer’s products all under the one roof. KMF are also passionate about apprenticeships and for ten years, have been offering in-house engineering apprenticeships in their EAL Approved Training Centre.

About Dougie Mac

Douglas Macmillan Hospice affectionately known as the Dougie Mac is a charity based in North Staffordshire which provides end of life care to anyone over the age of 18 facing a life-limiting illness in North Staffordshire.

In 2016, 4,000 people across North Staffordshire faced a terminal illness and Dougie Mac provided care and support to 2,900 of these local people. To provide the hospice services completely free of charge they need to raise in excess of £11.8million of which approximately £8 million is donated through the generosity of the local community.
